Welcome to the Virginia Wing Cadet Program's webpage for Civil Air Patrol. The cadet program is designed to provide youth ages 12-20 training in followership, leadership, aerospace education, communication, and emergency services. Cadets receive training in these areas at their weekly squadron meetings as well as participating in local and wing level activities that occur throughout the year. If you would like to learn more about Civil Air Patrol, visit a local unit near you.

August 19, 2008:
-The Operation Anchors Away! webpage has been updated with important information. Please view the new updates if you are planning to attend this event!
-The Virginia Wing Conference is right around the corner! For more information and to attend, please read and fill out the VAWG Conference Form.
August 17, 2008:
-The Physical Fitness Challege page has been updated to show current records of July's points. Everyone has done an outstanding job these last few month to stay fit and active! If you would like to learn more about the PFC, click on the link to your left for more info. Keep it up VAWG!
August 13, 2008:
-We are busy planning a fall cadet programs event that we will refer to as Operation Anchors Away! Please visit the link for more information as the page will be updated frequently.
-We would like any ideas for the VAWG cadet webpage! If you have a useful idea such as a simple color change or adding another page, please send it to ccscadet@gmail.com. Your ideas will be reviewed and may be added to the page!
