We are offering our next installment of Level II and Level III modules in the new CAP education and training program. These classes will take place May 15-16 on Teams.
RICHMOND, Virginia –The Virginia Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), changed leadership Saturday, April 10 during the wing’s annual conference. In the time-honored change of command ceremony, Col Elizabeth A. Sydow, CAP assumed command from Colonel Dean E. Gould, CAP.
Just over 80,000 vaccines later, the COVID-19 vaccination site in Greensboro, North Carolina is still going strong. In addition to volunteers from North Carolina, Virginia Wing Civil Air Patrol has been instrumental in continuously staffing the Greensboro Vaccination Site, providing personnel to augment the CAP resources available on site.
These Virginia Wing members and community partners were the best of the ENTIRE region and have been sent to national to compete! Congratulations to the cadets, senior members, and community partners who earned these awards for their hard work in 2020!!
