Three CAP Mission Awards - 2023

Congratulations to all members of Virginia Wing for being recognized by National Headquarters with THREE CAP Mission Awards for our work in 2022:

• Aerospace Education
• Cadet Programs
• Disaster Relief

These awards recognize the top wing in each region in performing CAP's missions. There are five total award categories and we were recognized with three! This is the result of efforts from every one of our members with your ongoing efforts in these areas.

I'd especially like to recognize the leadership of Lt Col Paul Willard and Lt Col CJ Muncy in AE, Maj Sarah Nutbrown for Cadet Programs, and Lt Col Jeff Van Etten and Lt Col Josh Shields for Emergency Services.

You continue to exemplify our mission statement of "Volunteers serving America's communities, saving lives, and shaping futures." Excellent work and well done!
