Virginia Civil Air Patrol members support food warehouse operations

Over the weekend, nine Virginia Wing members from five different units came together to continue supporting food warehouse operations for Prince William County. Between Saturday and Sunday, members moved and processed nearly 52,000 pounds of food resulting in 29,000 meals. Additionally, members three different units ensured the safety and well-being of these members utilizing the wing’s virtual incident command post from 180 miles away from the operation. Virginia Wing is in this together, serving our communities and the Commonwealth from wherever we are!
