Congratulations to the Virginia Wing recipients - Maj Jacob Bixler & Capt Christopher Freeze.

Please welcome Lt Col Dan Brodsky as the new Group 3 Commander and thank Maj Jim Mathews for four years of dedicated command to the group.

Congratulations to the cadets and senior members who promoted in June, as well as the senior members who completed their professional levels in the Education and Training Program.

It is with deep sorrow to announce that Lt Col Scott Van Cleef, the squadron commander of Roanoke Composite Squadron, passed away yesterday from a heart attack.

Cadet Col. Evan E. Heidenreich of Prince William Composite Squadron, Virginia Wing, was presented the Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Award certificate on Friday afternoon, July 16th at the Air Force Association (AFA) Headquarters.

Virginia Wing relocated aircraft yesterday from outside ramps to inside hangars in advance of potential damaging weather related to Tropical Storm Elsa.

This past Saturday, Group 3 cadets in Northern Virginia hit the ground running with a group wide Drill Day!
