Who We Are
Newport News Composite Squadron consists of over 100 senior and cadet members from diverse backgrounds, volunteering together to serve our community, state and nation.
When/Where We Meet Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm.
Cadets meet at Nelson Chapel in the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station (off base housing area)
Senior Member meetings are held at Rick Aviation near the Newport News/Williamsburg Int'l Airport.
Typical Schedule for Cadet Meetings on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm:
1st Tuesday - PT and Aerospace Education (there is no official PT uniform--just wear a grey T-shirt w/ blue or black shorts)
2nd Tuesday - Flight Time and Leadership/Emergency Services (ABUs)
3rd Tuesday - Flight Time and Aerospace Education (ABUs)
4th Tuesday - Promotions/Awards, Character Development and Safety (Blues or nice civilian clothes)
5th Tuesday - Fun Night (details/location TBD) Next 5th Tuesday is 29 Aug!
Meeting changes/cancellations are notified via email. Please notify us in advance so we know to look out for you!

September, the 192 WG Survival Instructor held a training event for cadets at Fort Monroe, Squadron Change of Command
