The National Park Service staff welcomed volunteers from various organizations early Saturday morning, September 21st, in support of the 2018 National Public Lands Day at Prince William Forest Park near Triangle, VA. Among the many volunteers, six members of Prince William Composite Squadron led by 1st. Lt. Sara Demyanovich and 2d. Lt. Kari Pewett were assigned to splitting wood with hydraulic wood splitters. The three-hour shift culminated in a pizza lunch with Park Rangers and Staff. Special thanks to those who supported this annual event. To the Stars, Prince William!
