MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (Aug 29, 2022) – Forty-nine Civil Air Patrol (CAP) members from three different states flew on a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft courtesy of the 167th Airlift Wing, West Virginia Air National Guard on August 25, 2022.
At the Command Council meeting at the 2022 National Conference, Virginia Wing was awarded the 2022 Disaster Relief Mission Award for Mid-Atlantic Region. CAP-USAF selects one winner each year in each region. Congratulations to all members of the wing who were part of the wing's disaster relief efforts and training!
